Procurement of Warehouse Rental - Ethiopia

Description

UNHCR Addis Ababa Representation Office in Ethiopia is seeking to rent a warehouse in Addis Ababa. All interested landlords and estate agents are invited to express their interest in signing a long-term lease agreement for an initial period of one year.

REQUIREMENTS

The following general criteria should be met as far as is possible:

Building Related Specifications

Building floor plate/ 6,000m? / 5000m2 covered area and 1,000 uncovered ( compound) exterior area

Clear height 6m and above

Roof Standard Steel roof system that doesn’t let leakages

Wall Built stone walls or precast concrete

walls up to 3m and hollow blocks up to the roof. Perimeter Walls build in stone/concrete minimum of 3 m topped with concertina or barbwire.

Dock ramp Concrete and can be fit for up to 40mt trucks

Dock doors Manually operated rolling shutters, size 3mx3.5m

Dock pits Provision for dock levelers

Deadline for submission is 10 November 2023 before 16:30 promptly. Your submission should clearly indicate the following elements per property:

• Ownership of the property (landlord vs real estate agent)
• Property details / size (see Annex 1)
• Date from which the property will be available for possession.
• Map of where the property is located
• Clear colour images of both the interior and exterior of the property
• Road width to access the property from the main highway.
• Guard posts in the compound at each four corners of the compound if the compound
