Champion Breweries PLC

Champion Breweries PLC is a Nigerian brewery based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: CHAMPION). Founded in the late 1970s as South East Breweries, the company was renamed Champion Breweries and produces the Champion Lager beer brand and other locally-focused beverages serving the South-South and South-East Nigerian markets. The company is majority-owned by the Raysun Nigeria Limited consortium (linked to Heineken subsidiary Consolidated Breweries) and the Akwa Ibom State Government.
