Cheli & Peacock Safaris is a pioneering Kenyan luxury safari operator founded in 1985 by Stefano Cheli and Liz Peacock. The company is credited with pioneering the concept of community conservancies in Kenya, notably working with Maasai communities to establish private wildlife conservancies. Its portfolio includes Elewana Collection camps and lodges across Kenya and Tanzania, including Elephant Pepper Camp (Mara North Conservancy), Tortilis Camp (Amboseli), Joy's Camp (Shaba), and Sand River Masai Mara, among others. The company is a founding member of the Ecotourism Kenya movement and a major promoter of responsible safari tourism and community-based conservation.
