The East Africa Tea Trade Association (EATTA) administers the Mombasa Tea Auction, the world's largest auction centre for black CTC tea. Founded in 1956, EATTA represents tea producers, buyers, brokers, warehouses, and packers from across East and Central Africa. The Mombasa auction handles teas from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Ethiopia, and the DRC.
