Governors' Camp Collection

Governors' Camp Collection is one of Kenya's most prestigious luxury safari camp operators, established in 1972 with the opening of the original Governors' Camp on a prime site in the Maasai Mara National Reserve (historically used as a camping ground for British colonial governors in Kenya). Owned and operated by the Scott family of Musiara Limited, the collection includes Governors' Camp, Little Governors' Camp, Governors' Il Moran Camp, and Governors' Private Camp in the Maasai Mara, plus Loldia House on Lake Naivasha and Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge in Rwanda (in partnership with community conservation). The group has deep conservation credentials and is a founding member of the Ecotourism Kenya movement.
