Hygeia HMO Limited is Nigeria's first and largest private health maintenance organisation (HMO), founded in 1986 by Dr Ola Brown (and later led by Femi Soremekun). Hygeia provides managed healthcare insurance plans, outpatient and inpatient cover, and corporate wellness programmes for Nigerian individuals, families, and corporate clients. The company operates through a network of partner hospitals and clinics across Nigeria and is widely recognised as the pioneer of modern managed health insurance in Nigeria.
