Lukhanyo Mdingi is an acclaimed South African ready-to-wear fashion label founded in 2015 by Lukhanyo Mdingi, a Cape Town-based designer trained at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. The brand is anchored in muted elegance, stark androgyny, and fluid silhouettes, and was named LVMH Prize Karl Lagerfeld Prize winner in 2021 (a USD 150,000 prize plus mentorship).
