Mamelodi Sundowns FC

Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club is one of South Africa's most successful football clubs, based in Pretoria and playing in the PSL (Premier Soccer League) at Loftus Versfeld Stadium. Founded in 1970 and owned since 2003 by Patrice Motsepe (founder of African Rainbow Minerals), Sundowns has won multiple PSL titles, the CAF Champions League (2016), and the CAF African Football League (2023). The club is one of the most valuable football brands in Africa and has become a symbol of post-apartheid South African football success.
