Omata Holdings

Omata Holdings Limited is one of the pioneer indigenous manufacturing companies in Nnewi, Anambra State, founded by the late Chief Mathias Onwugbenu, a Nnewi industrial pioneer who transitioned from motor-parts trading to manufacturing in the formative years of the Nnewi industrial cluster. Omata Holdings operates in industrial production and trading, and Chief Onwugbenu is credited with contributing to Nnewi's transition from a trading hub into a manufacturing hub alongside contemporaries like the Ibeto, Innoson, and Uzodike families. The company remains under family management.
