Ouida Books

Ouida Books is a Nigerian independent publisher founded in 2016 by Lola Shoneyin (a Nigerian novelist, poet, and arts entrepreneur, also founder of the Aké Arts and Book Festival). The publisher focuses on Nigerian and African literature, publishing new and established African authors in fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. Lola Shoneyin's Aké Festival (held annually in Lagos) is one of the most important African literary festivals, attracting authors from across the continent and diaspora.
