Primero Transport Services

Primero Transport Services Limited is the Nigerian operator of the Lagos Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, the first full BRT system in sub-Saharan Africa and the largest urban public transport operation in Nigeria. Primero operates the BRT routes from Ikorodu through Lagos Mainland to CMS (Marina) on dedicated bus lanes, serving hundreds of thousands of Lagos commuters daily. The BRT system was launched in 2008 as part of the Lagos Urban Transport Project (LUTP) led by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) and has been a transformative intervention in Lagos urban mobility.
