Société des Hydrocarbures du Tchad (SHT) is Chad's state-owned national oil company, founded in 2006 to manage state interests in the country's petroleum sector. SHT holds equity stakes in major oil fields, with Chad being one of the significant oil producers in Central Africa since the Doba project began in 2003.
