Tamarillo Kenya

Tamarillo Kenya Limited is a Kenyan agro-processing company based in Mweiga, Nyeri County, specialising in organic products derived from the tree tomato fruit (tamarillo, known locally as "itunda ria thakame" or "tunda la damu"). The company's product range includes ready-to-drink tree tomato juice, tree tomato jam, chia seed yoghurt, and natural honey. Tamarillo Kenya sources tree tomatoes from local smallholder farmers at KSh 70-80 per kilogram and supports cultivation by supplying grafted and non-grafted tamarillo seedlings to farmers, promoting year-round production as an alternative income source in Nyeri County.
