About Terra Kulture
Terra Kulture is a Nigerian arts, culture, and literary centre located on Victoria Island, Lagos, founded in 2003 by Bolanle Austen-Peters (a Nigerian lawyer, arts entrepreneur, and film director). The centre operates a Nigerian restaurant, art gallery, bookshop, language school (teaching Nigerian languages), event space, and theatre (Terra Kulture Arena) which has staged major Nigerian stage productions. Bolanle Austen-Peters is widely recognised as one of the driving forces behind the Nigerian cultural renaissance of the past two decades, and Terra Kulture has become a symbol of Lagos arts and cultural life.
