Thanda Private Game Reserve

Thanda Private Game Reserve is a luxury 14,000-hectare Big Five game reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, founded by Swedish businessman Dan Olofsson in 2002 as a conservation and tourism enterprise partnering with the local Mkhwanazi community. The reserve features luxury safari lodges including Thanda Safari Lodge and Villa iZulu (once ranked among the world's top safari destinations by Condé Nast Traveler), and has won multiple World Travel Awards for Africa's Leading Safari Lodge and South Africa's Leading Luxury Safari Lodge.
