TheUrbanative is a South African design studio producing contemporary furniture and home decor inspired by African cultures, particularly the Ndebele tribe's graphic patterns. Founded by Mpho Vackier in 2014, all TheUrbanative products are designed and manufactured in South Africa, and the brand has attracted major corporate clients including Nando's, Nike, and Investec. TheUrbanative represents a new wave of South African design celebrating indigenous African aesthetics through modern furniture and lighting.
