Videovision Entertainment is one of South Africa's leading film production and distribution companies, founded by Anant Singh, an internationally-recognised South African film producer of Indian descent. Based in Durban, the company has produced over 100 films including the Oscar-nominated "Sarafina!" (1992, starring Whoopi Goldberg and Leleti Khumalo), "Cry, the Beloved Country" (1995, James Earl Jones), "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" (2013, Idris Elba), and numerous other internationally-acclaimed South African films. Anant Singh is one of the most celebrated African film producers and a close friend of the late Nelson Mandela.
