About Zakouma National Park
Zakouma National Park in southeastern Chad is one of Africa's greatest conservation success stories, managed by African Parks since 2010. Following dramatic anti-poaching efforts, Zakouma's elephant population has been stabilised and the park hosts lions, leopards, giraffes, and vast seasonal bird migrations.
