Description

The U.S. Embassy Djibouti's Public Diplomacy Section announces an open competition for organizations to implement the American Innovation and Workforce Advancement Program. This funding opportunity supports projects that strengthen workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and professional skills among Djiboutian youth and emerging professionals. Competitive proposals should promote practical hard and soft skills, including digital literacy, STEM, financial literacy, project management, critical thinking, leadership, and career readiness while advancing American innovation, educational engagement, and entrepreneurship. Programs should incorporate a clear American element and strengthen long-term people-to-people ties between the United States and Djibouti through workforce development, professional exchange, and economic opportunity.
