Oikocredit

Oikocredit is a Netherlands-headquartered international cooperative that provides loans, equity investments, and capacity building to microfinance institutions, agricultural cooperatives, and small enterprises in developing countries. With a portfolio of over EUR 1 billion across 30+ countries, Oikocredit is one of the longest-running impact lenders in Africa. The cooperative is funded by individual investors who buy shares and receive modest dividends, with the proceeds used to fund development lending.
