Description
One Acre Fund is a non-profit social enterprise that provides input credit (seeds, fertilizer) and training to smallholder farmers across Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, and Zambia. Farmers receive inputs on credit and repay from harvest proceeds. The organization has served over 1.4 million smallholder farmers and is one of the largest providers of formal credit to African smallholders. One Acre Fund is supported by major development finance institutions and impact investors.
