Description

Sidian Bank is a tier-2 Kenyan commercial bank with a strong focus on SME, agri value chain, water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and solar finance. The bank has received multiple international DFI facilities including USD 20 million from FMO, EUR 5.5 million from East African Development Bank for agri value chain finance, USD 10 million from Triodos, USD 10 million from European Microfinance Facility, and KES 564 million from WaterEquity for WASH lending. Sidian has strategic partnerships with SunCulture (solar irrigation) and Orb Energy (commercial solar) to provide asset finance for solar systems to Kenyan farmers and SMEs.
