The DAO has partnered with Magic Eden, the leading NFT marketplace on the Solana blockchain, to expand its reach in the NFT space. The organization has raised significant funding, including an $18 million Series A round led by Animoca Brands, bringing its valuation to $200 million. This funding has been used to purchase NFTs and land in virtual worlds, as well as to boost its scholarship program to over 10,000 members. Avocado DAO continues to focus on community growth through education and content creation around blockchain technologies and metaverse opportunities, aiming to empower more users to participate in the emerging digital economy.
