Cedars-Sinai Accelerator

The Cedars-Sinai Accelerator is a healthcare-focused accelerator program based in Los Angeles, California, dedicated to supporting early-stage companies in the medical field. This three-month program offers participating companies $100,000 in funding, mentorship from over 300 leading clinicians and executives, access to Cedars-Sinai's resources, and exposure to a broad network of entrepreneurs and investors. Since its inception in 2016, the accelerator has been instrumental in transforming healthcare delivery and patient care by helping entrepreneurs bring their innovative technology products to market. During the program, companies receive dedicated office space adjacent to the Cedars-Sinai medical center, mentorship from world-leading physicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, and executives, and access to a technical team for expert advice on technical infrastructure and integration with other IT systems. The program also includes lectures and workshops focused on healthcare and entrepreneurship, as well as weekly meetings where companies can share successes and challenges, and support each other in setting and achieving ambitious goals. At the end of the program, a Demo Day is hosted where all participant companies can present their work to an invited group of investors, potential customers, mentors, and press. The Cedars-Sinai Accelerator focuses on various key areas, including AI, analytics, and machine learning; business and administrative technologies; care delivery models; care management; cybersecurity; digital health; medical devices; revenue cycles; supply chain management; and biotechnology.
