About Chivas Venture

Chivas Venture is a global competition and funding platform that supports social entrepreneurs worldwide. Since its inception in 2014, it has provided over $6 million in funding to 142 social entrepreneurs across more than 65 countries, directly impacting and improving the lives of 3.3 million people. The program aims to help entrepreneurs overcome social and environmental challenges by offering financial support and resources to scale their businesses. The competition is open to social startups from around the world, with a focus on those that blend profit with purpose. Each year, Chivas Venture awards $1 million in no-strings funding and expert coaching through the Chivas Venture Accelerator Programme. The program has received over 10,000 applications and supported 120 startups with funding and coaching. These startups have been redefining 'business as usual' into 'business as a force for good', collectively enriching the lives of more than 2 million people in over 50 countries across six continents. Chivas Venture's impact includes providing over 34 million liters of safe drinking water, recycling over 1,300 tonnes of waste, and providing 75,000 days of education for women and girls. The program continues to evolve, piloting dynamic new formats to expand its global reach and support grassroots community initiatives in various regions. By working closely with local markets, Chivas Venture identifies and champions 'nu-wave entrepreneurs' who use their businesses to elevate themselves and others within their communities, bringing real, localized action to social and environmental issues.
