Cronos Labs is a Web3 startup accelerator that focuses on Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and blockchain games, aiming to foster the growth of the Cronos blockchain ecosystem. The organization offers a 12-week remote accelerator program annually, selecting 5-10 startups per cohort. Each startup receives mentorship, marketing and financial support, and introductions to strategic partners. The program culminates in a demo presentation to facilitate fundraising discussions. The accelerator program primarily targets end-user applications with a working product and plans for a token launch on Cronos to enable their next growth phase. Cronos Labs has partnered with various industry leaders to provide comprehensive support to participating startups. The program has seen multiple cohorts, with the second cohort commencing in April 2023, offering upfront seed funding of USD $30,000 to selected projects. In addition to the accelerator program, Cronos Labs is actively involved in the development of the Cronos blockchain ecosystem, which is the first Ethereum-compatible Layer-1 blockchain network built on the Cosmos SDK. The ecosystem encompasses three chains: Cronos EVM, Cronos zkEVM, and Cronos POS, each serving different purposes within the blockchain space. Cronos Labs continues to drive the adoption of Web3 technologies by supporting innovative projects and fostering a vibrant community.
