Edmund Mokhtarian

Edmund Mokhtarian is a Los Angeles-based investor with a background in data and entertainment industries. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude and served as the Founder and President of the Epicurean Society and President of the In Vino Veritas Wine Society. He has also completed several courses in machine learning and artificial intelligence through Coursera. He is currently a partner at DLA Piper, a global law firm, where he has held various positions in the San Francisco Bay Area, Greater New York City Area, Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Washington, DC. In addition to his legal career, he has been involved in investments in the technology and entertainment sectors, including serving as an investor in Taste Lab, a company building an automated grocery shopper. He has also been involved in legal matters related to the entertainment industry, including representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings. He is fluent in English, Armenian, and Spanish. He has also been a mentor for Minds Matter of Los Angeles, an organization that provides mentorship to high-achieving students from low-income families. He has published articles on topics such as the legal implications of artificial intelligence and the rise of crypto hedge funds.
