Elias Aalto

Elias Aalto is a Finnish entrepreneur and angel investor known for his significant contributions to the technology and innovation sectors. He co-founded Wolt, a global food delivery platform, where he directed early technical development before its acquisition by DoorDash in 2022 for approximately €7 billion. Prior to Wolt, Aalto established Qvik, a mobile application agency, and developed the award-winning game Wooden Labyrinth 3D. He holds a degree from the Aalto University School of Business. As a venture partner at Lifeline Ventures, Aalto focuses on early-stage investments in sectors such as SaaS, AI, climate tech, health tech, and fintech. He manages a portfolio of over 20 pre-seed and seed investments across these industries. Beyond his direct investments, Aalto serves as an investor on the Finnish television series Leijonan luola and advises startup ecosystems at events like Slush.
