Farouk Kadous

Farouk Kadous is an angel investor and entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio spanning multiple industries. He is the founder and CEO of Chickin Worx, a fast-food chain established in 2019 in Egypt, aiming to provide quality meals at affordable prices to the mass market. The first outlet opened in New Cairo, and despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the brand has expanded its presence. In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Kadous is actively involved in venture capital. He co-founded a $1 million fund to invest in early-stage startups, achieving significant growth with exits like TruKKer. His investments include Figma, El Sewedy Education, and Chapter One, where he serves as an investor and board member. He also has stakes in Pipe, Roam Research, and Upflow. Kadous holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on finance from Northeastern University in Boston, complemented by minors in International Affairs and Sociology.
