About John Katzman
John Katzman is an American entrepreneur and investor specializing in education technology. He is the founder and CEO of Noodle, a company that partners with universities to offer online degree programs. Prior to Noodle, Katzman founded The Princeton Review, a company that assists students with test preparation and college admissions, and 2U, an educational technology company that collaborates with universities to provide online degree programs. He has also been involved in the founding of several other education companies, including Tutor.com, Student Advantage, and Eat New York, an early software-based restaurant guide. Katzman has served on the boards or advisory boards of several organizations, including the National Association of Independent Schools, the National Alliance of Public Charter Schools, The Institute for Citizens & Scholars, Carnegie Learning, and Renaissance Learning. He has been an angel investor in numerous education technology ventures. Katzman has been recognized for his contributions to education, receiving the 2018 ASU GSV Lifetime Achievement Award and being named one of the 100 most influential people in K-12 education by District Administration in 2024.
