About Jon Bond
Jon Bond is an American entrepreneur and investor recognized for his significant contributions to the advertising and media sectors. He co-founded Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners (KB+P) in 1987, an agency that became the largest independently held in the United States, serving clients such as BMW, Target, Citi, Capital One, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's Secret, Verizon, AT&T, Snapple, and Delta Air Lines. The firm was sold to MDC Partners in 2009. In 1996, Bond co-founded iballs, a digital media agency that was acquired by Avenue A, which later became part of Microsoft. He also served as CEO of Big Fuel Communications from 2011 to 2012, a marketing and social media company with clients including GM, Gatorade, T-Mobile, McDonald's, Budweiser, and Yahoo!, which was acquired by Publicis in 2012. As of 2019, Bond was the Chief Tomorroist at Tomorro LLC, a company providing financial and strategic advice. He has been an advisor for Appinions Inc., DataXu, Metamorphic Ventures, and Smarterer, Inc., and has served on the boards of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, Ad Council, and AdWeek. He was named #4 in Adweek's 'Agency Executive of the Decade' in 2010. In 2012, following the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, he co-founded Evolve, an organization aimed at facilitating dialogue between opposing sides of the gun ownership debate. Bond attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He has five children from two marriages, including singer-songwriter Remy. His daughters appeared on season 6 of MasterChef Junior. Bond is also an investor and advisor to various companies, including Simplifi, Klout, Crimson Hexagon, DataXu, Victors & Spoils, White Ops, Sonobi, and Accordant Media. He has been involved in several ventures, including serving as Co-Chairman of The Shipyard Inc. from 2016 to 2018, Chairman of SITO Mobile (NASDAQ) from 2018 to 2020, and Advisory Board Member for Brave Software starting in 2016. In 2020, Bond became an Investor/Chief Marketing Advisor for Halo Collar. In 2022, he took on the roles of Founder at Weightless, CEO at Signal Hill Acquisition Company (NASDAQ), and Vice Chairman at Talenthouse AG. He was appointed to the board of ONAR Holding Corporation in May 2025.
