Juan A. Sabater

As a Partner and Co-President at Valor Equity Partners, Juan A. Sabater plays a pivotal role in the firm's investment activities, focusing on investor relations, investment prospect generation, due diligence of potential investments, and investment structuring and execution. With over 25 years of experience in private equity investing and investment banking, he has been instrumental in Valor's growth and success. Prior to joining Valor, Mr. Sabater was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in the firm's Investment Banking Division, where he held several positions, including membership in the private equity coverage group and as a coverage and execution banker for clients in Latin America. Following his tenure at Goldman Sachs, he partnered with a law school friend to grow Augeo Affinity Marketing into a leading private company in the affinity and loyalty industry. He currently serves as Co-Chairman of the Board of Augeo. In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Sabater serves on the Boards of Directors of Harmony Biosciences and Addepar, and as a Board Observer for Dataminr and BlueVoyant. He was appointed by President Biden to serve as a Member on the Board of Visitors of the United States Military Academy. He holds an A.B. in History from Princeton University, studied history at the University of Oxford, Mansfield College, and earned a J.D. from Stanford Law School. He is also a former officer in the United States Army Reserve.
