Rand Hindi

Rand Hindi is a French entrepreneur and angel investor based in Paris, France. He is the CEO and co-founder of Zama, a startup specializing in homomorphic encryption, which enables computations on encrypted data without decryption. Prior to Zama, he co-founded Snips, a private-by-design voice assistant company acquired by Sonos. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and a PhD in Bioinformatics from University College London. As an angel investor, Rand Hindi has invested in over 50 deeptech and web3 companies, focusing on early-stage ventures in sectors such as artificial intelligence, technology, software, and consumer electronics. His investment strategy emphasizes supporting innovative startups with strong leadership and high growth potential. Rand Hindi has been recognized as an MIT TR35 innovator and named in Forbes' 30 under 30. He has also served as a lecturer at Sciences Po in Paris and was a member of the French Digital Council.
