About this Program
Catalytic Africa is a cross-stakeholder initiative of AfriLabs (Africa's largest network of 500+ innovation hubs across 53 countries) in conjunction with the African Business Angels Network (ABAN). The programme strengthens entrepreneurs, startups, hubs and angel investors by providing match-funding for early-stage African ventures backed by ABAN angel investors. Participating startups must be supported by an AfriLabs hub and have secured investment from an accredited African angel investor. Catalytic Africa then matches part of that investment to amplify capital available to early-stage founders.

Eligibility
Early-stage African startups supported by an AfriLabs member hub and backed by an accredited African angel investor (typically through ABAN network). Must demonstrate scalability and ecosystem integration.
