About this Program

The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition is part of Generation Africa, hosted at the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF). It awards two grand prizes of USD 50,000 each (one female, one male) plus USD 60,000 in Impact Awards across categories such as rural livelihoods, nutrition, climate solutions, technology, gender impact, natural resource conservation, and job creation. The 7th edition (2025) awarded USD 167,000 at AFSF Dakar. Finalists pitch live on stage at the AFSF Summit and gain access to the Africa Agribusiness Deal Room and the GoGettaz Africa Leadership Program.

Eligibility

African entrepreneur aged 18-35 at submission, holding nationality of an AU member state with official ID, founder/co-founder of the venture playing an active leadership role, no relevant criminal record. Venture must be legally registered and headquartered in an AU member state, financially sustainable, and operating in the agrifood value chain from seed to fork.
