About this Program
The 16th edition of the Orange Social Ventures Prize in Africa and the Middle East (OSVP) recognises young entrepreneurs using emerging technologies (AI, big data, cybersecurity) to address social and environmental challenges. Open in 17 countries where Orange operates across Africa and the Middle East. Has received over 17,600 applications since its 2011 launch. The 2026 edition runs through national selections then an international round in October 2026, awarding three International Grand Prix winners plus an International Women's Prize winner. Sectors of focus: agriculture, education, health, environment.

Eligibility
Founder or co-founder of a startup less than 5 years old, founder over 21 years of age, startup present in at least one of the 17 OMEA countries (where Orange operates), with a working prototype of the proposed solution. Women founders strongly encouraged via the dedicated International Womens Prize.
