About this Program
The Standard Chartered Foundation Women in Tech Accelerator 2026 (6th cohort) is delivered in partnership with Village Capital and local ecosystem partners. The programme supports women-led tech-enabled startups with non-equity funding, business and technical training, mentorship, and investor exposure. In 2026, more than USD 600,000 in grants will be distributed across 12 markets: Bahrain, Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, UAE, Uganda, and Zambia. The 2025 cohort distributed over USD 550,000 to 21 women-led startups.

Eligibility
Women founders/co-founders running tech or tech-enabled startups at early stage with at least an MVP or pilot, traction, and market validation. Sectors: FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, AgriTech, AI, digital services. Some country tracks (e.g. Ghana) require 50% female ownership and 12+ months operation.
