About this Program
The Aguka Ideation Programme is a Tony Elumelu Foundation initiative specifically for Rwandan entrepreneurs, delivered in partnership with the Government of Rwanda. The 2026 cohort offers six weeks of intensive business training on TEFConnect (covering business management, financial literacy, and sustainability), followed by mentorship from African business leaders, business development support, and a national pitching competition. Each selected entrepreneur receives USD 3,000 in non-refundable seed funding plus lifetime access to TEF's pan-African entrepreneurship network. Past Aguka beneficiaries include Naomi Iradukunda of Ira EcoSolutions (biodegradable packaging from banana fibres).
