This is a national invitation for bids relaunched by the Project Management Unit (UGP-GFPP) in Djibouti for the acquisition of three vehicles to operationalize the unit under the PforR program. The Government of Djibouti received a grant from the International Development Association (IDA) for the Growth and Fiscal Preparedness Project, part of which will fund this vehicle purchase. The tender is split into three lots: a 4x4 SUV diesel, a 4x4 double cabin pick-up diesel, and a 4x2 SUV gasoline, all model year 2026. Interested bidders can consult or purchase the bidding documents from the Project Management Unit against payment of a non-refundable fee of 20,000 Djiboutian francs. The bid submission deadline, originally set for August 12, 2026, has been postponed to September 16, 2026 at 8:00 am. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the lot number and/or title, and each must be accompanied by a bid bond of an amount specific to the lot. Public bid opening will take place the same day at the Palais du Peuple in Djibouti.
