Construction and Equipping of Modern Abattoir in Kaduna
Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), funded through a credit from the International Development Association to the Federal Government of Nigeria, is inviting sealed bids for the construction and equipping of the Kaduna Modern Abattoir. The single lot carries a bid security requirement of N144,020,039.69, an average annual construction turnover requirement of N7,200,641,952.15, and a financial capability/cash flow requirement of N2,400,333,994.75. Scope of Work
Construction and Equipping of Kaduna Modern Abattoir. Bidding will be conducted through the Request for Bids (RFB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines for Procurement of Civil Works under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualification's requirements include: Average annual financial capacity of the last 3 years. Experience as contractor carrying out at least two projects of similar nature and complexity over the last 3 years (to comply with this requirement, the work cited should be at least 90% complete). Availability of essential equipment (own, lease, hire, etc) as listed in the Bidding Data Sheet. Contract Manager with 15 years' experience in construction works of an equivalent nature and volume including not less than 10 years as Contract Manager. All Bids must be accompanied by a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration, a comprehensive and concise Environmental and Social Management Strategies and Implementation Plans (ES-MSIP) and shall submit the Code of Conduct that will apply to the Contractor's employees and subcontractors as required by ITB 11.1 (h) of the Bid Data Sheet. A complete set of Bidding Document in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00). The method of payment will be by bank draft in favor of Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12.00 Noon on Tuesday 29th September 2026 and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount stated in the table above. Late bids will be rejected.
