Overview
This is a call by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, Nigeria, under the Sustainable Power and Irrigation for Nigeria (SPIN) Project, for consulting firms to provide design review, detailed engineering design and construction supervision services for the rehabilitation of Doma and Galala Dams. The assignment is financed through an IDA credit and follows recommendations of the Dam Safety Review Panel of Experts.
Scope of Work
The overall objective of the assignment is to undertake design review, producing the design and engineering drawings, technical specifications, works requirements, the bill of quantities and construction supervision for the rehabilitation of Doma and Galala Dams and associated hydraulic appurtenances. The Consultant shall review and utilize the findings, conclusions and recommendations of the Dam Safety Review Panel of Experts (DSRPoE) Dam Safety Assessment Reports as the technical basis for the assignment.
