Development of an Integrated Management Information System (MIS) to Support Enhanced Monitoring and Updating of E-Waste Data and Utilization of the UPOPS Tool Kit and E-Waste Calculator for E-Waste Processing

The Greater Cairo Air Pollution Management and Climate Change Project, operating under Egypt's Ministry of Local Development and Environment, has issued a request for expressions of interest from consulting firms to develop an Integrated Management Information System for e-waste data monitoring, alongside use of the uPOPs Tool Kit and E-Waste Calculator. The assignment is expected to run for 21 months, split between a development phase and a maintenance phase. Firms will be shortlisted based on experience with environmental or waste management information systems, integration with government platforms, prior work on projects financed by international partners such as the World Bank or GEF, and familiarity with the Stockholm and Basel Conventions. Selection will follow the World Bank's Quality and Cost-Based Selection method under a lump-sum contract, in line with the Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers. Expressions of interest must be delivered in person, in one original and two copies plus a soft copy on a USB flash drive, as electronic submissions are not accepted.
