Provision of Digital Learning Software and Related Support Services for ECDE Centers

The County Government of Machakos (Kenya) is procuring digital learning software and related support services for Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centers across the county. ECDE is a devolved function under the Constitution of Kenya and counties are responsible for early childhood education delivery. The software will support pre-primary teaching and learning in Machakos ECDE centers, with related implementation support, teacher training and ongoing maintenance. Bid security amount is in the bidding document. Submissions are physical at Machakos County Headquarters.

Supply and licensing of digital learning software appropriate for ECDE-age learners (3-6 years). Configuration and deployment to designated ECDE centers across Machakos County. Teacher training and ongoing pedagogical support. Technical support and software updates over the contract period. Documentation and user manuals in English and Kiswahili. Monitoring and reporting on usage and learning outcomes.

Legally registered firm in Kenya or international firm with Kenyan tax PIN. Demonstrated experience in EdTech, particularly early childhood education software. Statutory compliance documents (CR12, KRA tax, NSSF, NHIF, AGPO where applicable). Bid security per tender document. Sample software demonstration may be required.

Preliminary mandatory check. Technical evaluation against pedagogical fit, technical specifications, references, training plan and support model. Financial evaluation. Award to lowest evaluated responsive bidder.
