Scope of Work
The consulting services ("the Services") involve serving as the focal point of all Health and Safety risk management of the Project. The individual will ensure Project implementation complies with the World Bank Health and Safety Standards under the ESF, on assessment and management of project Health and Safety risks; labour and working conditions; community health and safety and stakeholder engagement and information disclosure. The specific tasks will be undertaken in close coordination with PIU Coordinator, UCP/PMU, ANE, IP, Local governments, the Private sector, NGO's and Community-based organisations staff responsible for the implementation of the Project activities. The expected duration of the project is 24 months. There will be a probationary period of 3 months from the date of signing the contract. The contract will be renewed upon satisfactory performance. The Health and Safety Specialist will report to the Project Coordinator as leader of the PIU, which is directly subordinated to the PMU. Requirements & Qualifications
The Ministry of Transport and Logistics (MTL) now invites qualified individuals ("Consultants") to express their interest in providing the Services. Expressions of interest must include the following: (i) a CV detailing qualifications, work experience and achievements in comparable work; (ii) a cover letter, no more than two pages long, specifically addressing how the applicant fulfills each of the mandatory selection criteria.
