Overview

IUCN Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO) is procuring a cloud-based payroll solution to support IUCN HR and finance operations across the East and Southern Africa region. The platform will manage employee records, payroll calculations, tax and statutory deductions per the various country jurisdictions in the region (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe and others), and integrate with IUCN finance systems. The 2-month contract is for setup and configuration with ongoing subscription beyond.

Scope of Work

Setup and configuration of cloud payroll platform for IUCN ESARO. Country-specific tax and statutory deduction configuration for ESARO countries. Employee data migration. Integration with IUCN finance system. Training of IUCN ESARO HR/finance staff. Documentation and SOPs. Initial period support and bug fixing.

Requirements & Qualifications

Cloud-based payroll software vendor with multi-country Africa coverage (or strong partner network). Demonstrated experience with international NGOs or multilateral organisations. Local support presence in Kenya. Compliance with relevant data protection laws. IUCN Declaration of Undertaking.

Evaluation Criteria
