Overview
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) of Kenya, the constitutional office responsible for criminal prosecutions, is procuring vehicle repair and maintenance services for its motor vehicle fleet across all 47 county offices nationwide. Vendors with national footprint or established subcontractor networks across counties are particularly suited. The contract is structured as a framework arrangement with service requests issued from county offices throughout the contract period.
Scope of Work
Vehicle repair services including mechanical, electrical, body and paint, tyre and battery work for ODPP fleet across all 47 counties. Routine and preventive maintenance (oil changes, service intervals, inspections). 24/7 emergency repair capacity in major urban centres. Genuine spare parts supply. Standard pricing schedule. Reporting and invoicing aligned with ODPP cost centre structure.
Requirements & Qualifications
Legally registered firm with national service network or established county-level subcontractor arrangements. Statutory compliance (CR12, KRA tax, NSSF, NHIF). Bid security per tender document. Proof of service capacity in the relevant counties. Reference contracts of similar scale.
Evaluation Criteria
Preliminary mandatory compliance, technical evaluation (network coverage, capacity, references, pricing schedule), financial evaluation. Award to lowest evaluated responsive bidder.
