Scope of Work

2. The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, Southwest State of Somalia now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the “Rehabilitation of Irrigation Canals (6 Lots) , SWS of Somalia which are located in Afgooye District”. The proposed rehabilitation works of each irrigation canals are expected to restore the functionality of each lot’s irrigation canals by addressing siltation, embankment instability, and damaged hydraulic structures, thereby improving water conveyance efficiency, strengthening irrigation reliability, and expanding irrigation service coverage. Each irrigation canal rehabilitation work is expected to be completed within twelve (12) months from the date of commencement.
