Babban Gona

Babban Gona ("Great Farm" in Hausa) is a Nigerian agricultural social enterprise founded in 2012 by Kola Masha, a Nigerian agribusiness entrepreneur. Based in Kaduna, Northern Nigeria, Babban Gona works with over 100,000 Nigerian smallholder maize farmers, providing training, inputs, mechanisation services, warehousing, and market access through a farmer franchise model. The organisation has won multiple international awards including the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship and has scaled to become one of the largest agricultural franchises in Africa.
