Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Tanzania centered on the Ngorongoro Crater - the world's largest unbroken volcanic caldera (19km in diameter). The crater hosts approximately 25,000 large mammals and is home to Maasai pastoralists, making it one of the few protected areas where humans and wildlife coexist. Managed by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority.
