Nigerian Professional Football League

The Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), formerly known as the Nigeria Premier League, is the top tier of Nigerian club football, organised by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) through the Interim Management Committee. The league consists of 20 clubs including historic Nigerian powerhouses such as Enyimba International (Aba), Kano Pillars, Rangers International (Enugu), Shooting Stars (Ibadan), Lobi Stars, Plateau United, Remo Stars, and Rivers United. Enyimba is the most successful Nigerian club, having won the CAF Champions League twice (2003 and 2004), making them the only Nigerian club to achieve this feat.
